  • zu // 2010 - 2011

    FedEx Investor Relations - User experience design and content strategy for the Investor Relations division of FedEx. Worked with established style guide for the company's recently redesigned website.

    Telus Learning Centre - User experience design working within the Telus style guide to provide an in-store appointment booking system powered by 24hr Assistant.

    zu.com - Provided content strategy, photography, and design to market the TimmyMe app developed by zu. Also designed several homepages.

    Calgary Stampeders mobile - User experience and graphic design for the mobile version of the Calgary Stampeders football team's website. Worked with an established aesthetic for websites optimized for iPhone and Blackberry use.

    Calgary Stampeders Store - User experience design for the store section of the Calgary Stampeders website.

    The Rider Store - User experience and graphic design for the official Saskatchewan Roughriders merchandise store. Sales on the website tripled after a soft-launch of the site.

    zu is an interactive agency in Saskatoon that specializes in mobile development and Investor Relations sites.

    The agency serves an array of clients in Canada and the US, including FedEx, Cameco, PotashCorp, TransCanada, Churchill Corporation, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Calgary Stampeders.

     

    As a Designer, I worked in collaboration with strategists, project managers, and developers for the above clients, among others, to provide UX design, photography and graphic design.

  • Boreal // 2010 - Present

    Boreal Collective is a group of five independent documentary photographers from Canada.

    Brett Gundlock, Rafal Gerszak, Aaron Vincent Elkaim, Jonathan Taggart, and Ian Willms came together in 2010 to form Boreal with a mandate of being "committed to the documentation of injustice and inequities that exist environmentally, socially, culturally and politically in Canada and abroad."

     

    Being good friends with these photographers, they asked for my input to help establish their identity, web presence, and self-publish projects in print and digital form. I am honoured to help.

    Boreal Collective - Design and front-end development.

    Boreal portfolio - Edited and designed a print publication showcasing a portfolio of Boreal photographers' work in time for their first group show, a 2011 Contact Festival featured exhibition at Bau-Xi Photo Gallery in Toronto.

    Boreal Books - I am currently editing and designing two books. Detroit by Ian Willms and Morocco by Aaron Vincent Elkaim. (Working Titles)
